When the name Habes Events was born the summer in the summer of 2026, little was it known how much of an impact there would be almost immediately. You may already know the name "Habes" behind DJ Habes, but it was important to Jonathan Habel who wanted to keep something familiar in Southwest Montana as he began his next phase of events and weddings. From years of event planning, festival founding, and event production, Habes Events was born into something that was just a small idea building for the last several years before its official founding.

As some of you may know, DJ Habes has been a growing process for many years. The individual behind the name is Jonathan Habel, hailing from the great state of Montana. Pulling from musical backgrounds of Country, Christian, and Top 40 music as a bass & guitar player, Jonathan took his musical experiences and applied them to setting the party environments at weddings starting back in high school.

Throughout college, Jonathan began frequenting and then working in a few of the bars in Bozeman, MT. From there networking connections were made with the local DJ's in town and grew those connections to gaining knowledge of how to set the party tones in the bar scenes of Bozeman.

In 2018, DJ Habes transitioned from the local country bar, Mixers for those of you who know Bozeman, to the downtown scene, working with The Pour House Bar & Grill, and then into Bar IX. In 2022, Jonathan returned to his country roots partnering with The Jump & Western Roots Country Dance Lessons to bring back Western Swing Wednesdays hosted by The Jump in Gallatin Gateway. Later that year, DJ Habes played into the country music space playing sets at Swing The Bigsky by Saddle Peak Productions. Following that up by performing late night sets at Montana's Head Waters Country Jam! To cap the year off, The Rocking R Bar brought DJ Habes in for their late nights!

Rolling into 2024, DJ Habes was voted back to back years as Bozeman Choice Bar DJ. Building upon established success, DJ Habes could be found at all the big events such as Headwaters Country Jam 2024, Alpenglow Fest 2024, and many others!

You can continue to find DJ Habes at the local bars throwing down some of the best sing along dance music for Montana State University Students on a weekly basis during the school year, and in the summer you can expect him to be working events, weddings and many more fun festivals throughout Southwest Montana.

2027 brings the next level of DJ Habes as expansion efforts grow from just Jonathan as the DJ to Jonathan & His Teams of DJs out of Habes Events flooding the dance floors and keeping the vibes at a fun level all night long!

At Habes Events, we look to connect our clients with valuable members in the events world that help make the best memories and the most streamlined planning possible for all individuals and couples!

"As someone that prides myself in professionalism and giving the best experiences I and my team would be honored to work with you in your up coming event!" - Jonathan
